Hello everyone,
I'm trying to create a DAX measure to subtract the value in the red box by the value in the green box, as shown in the screen capture of the matrix below. For the month of June, it should return:
[Cycle Date 06-2021 with Waterfall Date 07-2021] VALUE - [Cycle Date 05-2021 with Waterfall Date 07-2021] VALUE.
Ideally, the DAX measure should be able to be updated automatically each month.
In the month of July the DAX measure should return:
[Cycle Date 07-2021 with Waterfall Date 08-2021] VALUE - [Cycle Date 06-2021 with Waterfall Date 08-2021] VALUE.
Thank you so much in advance guys!

Hey @Anonymous ,
you can just subtract the value from last month from the current:
myNewMeasure =
[Measure1]
-
CALCULATE(
[Measure1],
DATEADD(
DateTable[Date],
-1,
MONTH
)
)
