Hi,
I'm trying to create combo chart with line series. It means that column series and line series share the same group.
If my data looks like this:
Date Groups Total
2015/1/3 A 10
2015/1/4 A 10
2015/4/3 A 10
2015/5/3 A 10
2015/7/3 A 10
2015/9/3 A 10
2015/11/3 A 10
2016/2/25 A 10
2016/5/25 A 10
2016/8/25 A 10
2016/10/25 A 10
2016/12/25 A 10
I just show few observations above.
In column Date, there are mutiple date from 2015-2019.
In column Groups, there are multiple factors, such as A, B, C, D.....
In column Total, this is numeric and I just put 10 in it. But actually, there are different numbers in each row.
Now I create two measure, R and G.
So the new data looks like adding 2 new columns on it.
I use the Line and Clustered Column Chart in visualization with R as line values, G as column values, date (Year and Quarter) as x-axis, and Groups as column series.
However, there is no line series that I can also add Groups.
I found a solution here. It seems that I need to create many measures for R with different Groups.
If I have many groups in column Groups, how can I do efficiently?
Hi @PeterChen ,
Yes, for the line series, we can't add groups, we can only create measures for each group as a workaround.
Best Regards,
Teige
