Hi all,
I'm stuck with this problem and hope you guys can help. I do have a table and I want to create a column that shows the difference per month between two years. See the figure below. For the first month, this means the third column should be +11,82%.
I used the folowing tables (in the table above rows: month, colums: year, values: values):
Anyone has a solution for this?
Kind regards,
Jurrit
Solved! Go to Solution.
Use a Quick Measure
right click your Value field and click quick measure
in the pop up box select year-overyear change
Base Value = Sum of value
Date = Table2 date
Number of periods = 1
this will give you the value you are looking for

@AnthonyTilley Perfect, thanks!
Now I'd like to delete (or hide) the second empty column. Do you also know how this is done?
Kind regards,
Jurrit
the quickest option would be to simply turn of Word wrap in the colunm headers section and the manual adjust the header of the second colunm to hide it
you can shrink it so that it does not appear at all
