Hi,
I have a Table and I would like to create a NewTable that will be summarizing the results of an existing Table:
My current Table consists of columns: Student name, Course name, Course taken
NewTable should consist of the columns: Student name, distinctcount (Course name) as UniqueCourseNames, sum(Course taken) as TotalCoursesTaken

@juliausha why you want a new table although you can do following to create the table:
New Table =
SUMMARIZE ( YourTable, YourTable[StudentName], "Unique Course Count", DISTINCTCOUNT ( YourTable[CourseName] ), "Total Courses Taken", SUM ( YourTable[CourseTaken] )
)
