Create a log over order bank - incremental refresh?

Hi,

I am trying to create a log over the changes in the order bank in our ERP-system.

I have managed to get the current order bank but i would like to be able to save the old values and add the new ones upon update.

As it is now the old data gets overwritten by the new data.

the point is that we would like to se weather the orders are increasing och decreasing.

I would like the result to look somthing like this:

@RogerN ,

No, incremental refresh will only refresh the data which has been changed in your data source so that it can't save the whole old data. Currently power bi doesn't support the feature you mentioned, I would suggest you to create a table which contains date(or datetime) column in the database, then connect to the database table, so that you only need to refresh the table in power bi.

@v-yuta-msft

Thanks.

I've managed to do it in excel and power query but it involves appended querys that are referencing themselves.

I haven't figured out how to do that in Power BI.

Could you make a tutorial for how to solve this?

Could you share sample data?

@v-yuta-msft

i don't think i could share the data, unfortunately.

but the date is the sales order values, from the Sales Lines_table in Dynamics NAV

No suggestions?

To clarify; I wan't to take a snapshot on the orders today and save that figure and add a snapshot of the orders at the same time the next day to be able to analyze the changes.
