Create Unpivot table but with a little challenge

Hi Guys,

Could you please help me building below solution. After a very long time I am not able to achieve something in Power BI.

Here is the data I am deailing with in the most simplest form:

I have two tables as Source.  Table A and Mapping

Table A
Item Name Source AItem Name Source BAttribute Source AAttribute Source B
I1I1A1B1
I2I2C1D1
I3I3E1F1

Mapping
CommonSource ASource B
Item NameItem Name Source AItem Name Source B
AttributeAttribute Source AAttribute Source B

I need to bring the above data in below format. At any point of time only one Item will be selected in Item Filter.

So, if we filter by I1 then below table:

AttributeSource ASource B
Item NameI1I1
AttributeA1B1

If we filter by Item I2, then below table:

AttributeSource ASource B
Item NameI2I2
AttributeC1D1

@Community: Please help in resolving this.

Regards,

Prateek Raina

@ImkeF , Can you help?

Hi @prateekraina

that's a bit of an unusual format for Power BI data, but please check the solution in the file enclosed.
