Create Roles to define user with full access to a report

Hi all!

I have 1 Workspace in Premium Capacity with 2 Reports, Report1 and Report2.

Both reports must be accessed by different user groups. I have John and Sarah that can only look into Report1, and Peter  and Bruno that can only look to Report2.

All of them have acess to the same workspace where the 2 reports are available.

How can I make that happen? Using RLS? Not sure if this is possible.

Thanks!

@XTF RLS works on data only not for whole report.

Provide Viewer access to all 4 users to both the reports.

Create roles in each of the report.

In published report go to Security and add John and Sarah for Report1 and Peter  and Bruno for Report2.

If Peter logins and is able to browse the report1 , peter cannot see data inside.

Than you! I could implement it.

Users in different user groups can be provided viewer access to the workspace.

By implementing RLS in both the reports , one user group cannot see other user groups reports.

Hi darshaningale , thenks for the answer.

The problem is, how do we create this RLS? I mean, technically. An example would be great.

I've seen several turorials on how to limit a user to see a certain part of the fact table, etc... but how to make users be able to see or not to see a full report using RLS?
