Counts per week instead of current values in date hierarchy

Hi,

 

for a specific table I have the following date hierarchy:

With this I create column charts with the number of calls per month, for a whole year. My question is, if there is a way to use this data to create a weekly value, that I can use for the column charts to get an overview of calls per week?

Hi @TechR21 ,

If you only want to show calls per week, you can simply create a week column.

Week =
WEEKNUM ( [Date] )

If you want to include week in the date hierarchy, you should create some calculated columns (year, month, week etc.) per your needs, then go to Model view.

Then right click one column and select Create hierarchy.

Then, in the Properies blade, you can add and drag items to the hierarchy and (re)order them as needed.

It's best to create a separate date table with all the date-related columns your report needs. You can use the WEEKNUM function to create a Week column. See the article below:
