Counting average using New Measures

Hi all,

I have my resource table as below:

TypeScore
Maths80
Maths90
English80
English100
Geography90
Georgraphynull
Englishnull

I would like to count Average for each type, so I can present data as such on my Power BI report

TypeAverage Score
English85
Maths90
Georgraphy100

Is there a way to do it through New Measures?

Many thanks

Hi @jinweitan ,

Please check if this is what you want:

Avg Measure =
VAR Count_Type =
    COUNT ( 'Table'[Type] )
VAR Sum_Score =
    SUM ( 'Table'[Score] )
RETURN
    DIVIDE ( Sum_Score, Count_Type )

avg m.JPG

Best regards

Icey
