Count of values

Hi everyone!

I'm a new user in Power BI and have what I believe to be an easy-solved problem.

I have a dataset including three columns, namely "date", "country", and "status". The timeline for the dataset is apprioximately 1 year and it is structured in such way that the whole all dates and status for the first country is shown first, followed by the next and so on. There are five different values in the status column, "very fast", "fast", "neutral", "slow", and "very slow".

In my dashboard, I have created a filled map and would now like to create five different cards, each displaying the number of countries having a specific status for a specific date, e.g. the number of countries with the status "Neutral" on the 16th feb.

I'm not sure how to do this in the best way and would really appreciate some help, thanks!

@Anonymous , one of the way is to use the count of country on all card visuals ans the use visual level filter on status .

Second is create five measure like

calculate(count(Table[country]), filter(Table, table[status] ="Neutral"))  // five with each status

Use a date slicer. preferably a date table

To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :radacad sqlbi My Video Series Appreciate your Kudos.

Hi @Anonymous

You can just place Date and Status in slicers so that you can make the selection dynamically and then place this measure in a card visual:

Measure = DISTINCTCOUNT( Table1[Country] )
