Count of Text Strings in A Specific Cell

Hi, I am trying to count the number of times the character "-" appears in each cell for a column in my table. I want this measure to be in the calculated column format. Here is my expected result:

Phrase                                Count of "-" (Expected Calculated Column) 

Apple-Orange                      1

Apple-Orange-Strawberry    2

Apple                                    0

Try this calculated column formula

=len(Data[Phrase])-LEN(SUBSTITUTE(Data[Phrase],"-",""))
