Count number of changed items

Hello all,

I'm relatively new to queries and power bi but I've created some reports fairly easily. What I am trying to figure out is if there is a way to count the number of items in a data field that have changed values over a period of time. For example, lets say a fields has the possibility of havign the values of work in progress, complete, inactive. I would like to know how many WIP values have changed to complete over the past 7 days. Is that possible with a direct query from a oracel server?

Here is somethign similar to what the query brings back: What I would like is when i refresh the data in Power BI it will tell me how many of the WIP have changed to Complete over the past seven days.

Name         Status         Author

Object 1WIPJOE
Object 2CompleteMOM
Object 3WIPPOP
Object 4WIPPOP
Object 5InactiveJOE

That could be quite tricky but you might be able to get there using something like COUNTX coupled with VALUES potentially. The idea would be to count how many different statuses a column has filtered by some identifier. It would perhaps be easier if EARLIER was supported in DirectQuery but I do not believe it is:

Would perhaps be easier to answer if you posted some sample data and expected output. Please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490
