Hello PowerBi Community,
Idea as simple as to count how many months are selected on the date slicer seemed an easy task. However, I could not find a measure that would succesfully return an expected result.
I have tried this formula
test = CALCULATE(DISTINCTCOUNT(SALES[Date of shipment].[Month]),ALLSELECTED(SALES[Date of shipment].[Date]))
but it does not work.
Could you please point out where my error is?
Thank you in advance,
Zenons

@Anonymous , actually you need to distinct count of month year. As distinctcount takes only column, you need to have one in table
new column
ship month = format(SALES[Date of shipment],"YYYYMM")
new measure =
CALCULATE(DISTINCTCOUNT(SALES[ship month ]),ALLSELECTED(SALES[Date of shipment]))
@Anonymous - Perhaps:
Test = COUNTROWS(SUMMARIZE(SALES,[Date of shipment].[Month]))
