Hello PBI Community, I'm having some issues with a measure hope anyone can help,
Let's say I have Table 1 and Table 2,
Table 1 looks something like this:
1 | A |
2 | B |
3 | C |
4 | AB |
5 | BC |
6 | ABC |
And Table 2 has the list of letters:
A | Short Text for A |
B | Short Text for B |
C | Short Text for C |
I would like to have a bar chart with the count of rows in table 1 based on the letters it contains of table 2 for example Row 6 (table1) would count towards the 3 letters.
So the end result should be (imagine is a bar chart):
A 3
B 4
C 3
I'm kind of new to Power BI so I don't know if I should use a measure or a calculated column.
Any Suggestions? Any help is highly appreciated.

Thank you so much @smpa01 it worked!
I had more letters in my original table but it was just a matter of adding them in top of your suggestion.
No Problem !!! Glad to be of help to you 🙂
