Count Number of Overdue/Past Due Follow Up Calls

Hi!

I'm working on my first sales dashboard, and I'd like to display the number of overdue follow up calls. I have the the date an employee should follow up, but I'm not sure how to write DAX to count the number of accounts with a followup date before today.

Also, it'd be nice to be able to filter by sales agent or show how many overdue calls each sales agent has.

Any help would be greatly appreaciated. Thanks!

@qs314159 you can fitler those out

Overdue Followup Calls =
CALCULATE( COUNTROWS( YourTable ),
 YourTable[FollowupDate Coloumn] < TODAY() ,
NOT ISBLANK( YourTable[FollowupDate Coloumn])
)

@qs314159 add new measure as below, you can slicer it by sales agent as matter of fact any other column in your table.

Overdue Followup Calls =
CALCULATE( COUNTROWS( YourTable ),
 YourTable[FollowupDate Coloumn] < TODAY()
)

Thank you so much for the quick reply, @parry2k! I tried the formula, but it's also counting rows without any data in the Follow Up Date field. How can I exclude empty cells?
