Count Multiple Entries in One Column

My data import brings data into column [Question 1] stacked as shown below (although the cell lines are hard to see). How can I count each instance individually. Count each time "Mechanical" shows up....each time "Motion" shows up...etc.? Ideally I would like to plot a vertical graph showing counts of each. Thanks

Hope this helps. This is stacked column chart. You have to turn the data labels on .
