Couldn't convert to number when pulling data through Quandl API

Hi 

I'm attempting to follow this blog post to model stock market data. 

I have the queries set up, but no data other than the date will convert from text to number: 

As you can see, there is an actual number but it does not get recognized. I've tried changing the type to decimal, fixed ddecimal and whole number, and also used the locales but have no luck. 

Any suggestions?
