Converting from Date Time to minutes and seconds

I have a column named [Average Handle Time]. The data here is in date/time format hh:mm:ss.  What I want to do is take a time like 00:22:17 and convert it to minutes and seconds as a decimal. So this turns in to 22.28. I have used the built in modeling functions, but I want it to be recognized as a number and not text.  Any help is appreciated.

Hi @joshcomputer1,

Please try in a column this formula ( adapt your file where you have your date time):

=HOUR([Time])*60+MINUTE([Time])+SECOND([Time])/60
