I am struggling with where to even start in terms of creating a report like this in Paginated Reports. It is essentially an Income Statement at its core.
The datasource for this will be a Power BI data model as opposed to SQL datasets in Paginated.
The row-set is not a simple hierarchy and it has many rows that are just a random calculation or something pulled out of the account hierarchy. As for the columns its trending and QTD/YTD and some %'s.
An additional requirement is that they need it to run for all children of a location hierarchy and page break (the current reports can be 100+ pages for a bunch of different locations at different levels in a location hierarchy). For example if the location hierarchy is VP > Director then running the report for the VP would mean the first page being in the context of the VP and then the next pages being in the context of the Directors below them.
Main report creation questions:
1. How do I go about creating the report columns? Does each one need to be it's own measure in the data model?
2. How do I display the non-hierarchical row set? Meaning multiple levels of the hierarchy are display in different places. Do I have to stack a ton of tables on top of each other and filter them to the specific criteria of the row?

Hi @Anonymous ,
It is best to provide some sample data and tell us the results you want.

Sample data could be any GL type data with transactions and dimAccount. I did provide a picture of the report that is the desired output.
