Hi All,
I have a line chart that I would like to set to Continuous. However PBI is showing me Date and Time for the x-axis. Is there a way to show only dates in the x-axis? I.e. 2 Mar, 3 Mar, 4 Mar
x-axis is showing Date and Time now:
Regards,
Bee Kee

Try creating a calculation column to convert the value to text:
Column = FORMAT('Calendar'[Date] , "D MMM")
/ J
@Anonymous , you have x-axis type as categorical, try that

This will help to remove the time although it is not continuous. I think this is fine. Thanks!
If you create a new calendar table which you then connect with a relationship you should be able to maintain the continuous x-axis!

@Anonymous ,
Best practice is to separate date/time column in two columns because of performance.
If you don't need any analytics by time, in Power Query split column and keep only Date.
Continuos type: select chart > x axis > type = continuos.
