Consolidation of 3 CSV with different column structure

Dear All,

I am requesting your help. Despite different topics I checked out in the forum I didn't find an easy way to solve my problem.

I have created a template with a standard structure (columns are identified with a standard name). I receive flat files based on this template (CSV, TXT) from my partners and I combine the files within Power BI. All the files are located in a specific folder, then I used "get data / folder" and "load and edit the files", to get it in Power BI.

It used to work until one of my partner decided to add additional columns in its file. This shouldn't be a problem since I still have the columns I want. The fact is that these news columns have changed the order of the columns (not the name) and the process of loading is not working anymore, Power BI seems to not recognize the new columns and stops loading...

I was wondering how I could fix that effectively without creating several queries (which is an option). I thought about importing an empty table with the "desired headers" only, to force Power BI to only accept the specificied columns and ignore the additional ones.

Well, I am looking for advices. What would you recommend?

Thanks in advance.
