Connencting to different D365 company

I have a problem with PowerBI Desktop to connect to a different company in D365 F&O.

In the online service to connect to D365 I enter the following link. All works fine, but I only get the date from the company which is set as Startup Company under user options in the preferences.

https://(user).dynamics.com/data

How can I change this to get data from multiple companies or a different one.

Hi @Alex_W_CH 

If you want to access D365 for Finance and Operations as if it were a database, I suggest using a third party tool. This tool basically connects to the API and presents it as if it were a database. From there you can put it in PowerBi and do whatever you need with it. Have a look at

Thanks for your reply and the input about a connector.

Your comment about "... accessing as if it's a database..." made me courisos. Is there a other/better option to connect?
