Hi Guys,
Data source for my Power BI report is Azure Blob Storage. Currently I am establishing a connection using Azure Blob Storage connector provided by Power BI. It requires Blob name or URL to be added first and then key is required. Everything works fine.
Is there a way I can connect Power BI Desktop to Azure Blob Storage using service principal created in Azure which is added as Contributor/Reader access to Azure blob storage?
Something like this: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-dataflows-connect-azure-data-lake-storage-gen2
Thanks.
Hi @Mann ,
Based on my research, I could not find any ways to connect Power BI Desktop to Azure Blob Storage using service principal, I suggest you could ask the problem in Azure forum that may help you more:
