Connection on-premises gateway from powerBI Desktop

Hi,

I've installed the on-premises gateway on a distant server and it works well (my data is refreshing everyday withtout trouble).

But how can I connect my report on powerBI Desktop to this gateway ? I don't see any option to do that on the connection's options ?

My goal is to keep working on my reports with the data refreshed in local (as I said, it already works on server).

Hi,

unfortunately this is not supported. You can't schedule refresh on Power BI Desktop.

Hi,

you need either manualy refresh or create direct query.
