I am having sales and expense table as below

I need to create a single line graph to show the sales and returns. I created a date column using the calendar function and connected both the sales and returns table. Is this the right way to do this? I can get the line graph but not sure whether it's right or wrong?
What would be the best way to create my data model in order to generate a line graph? Please advise

Table1 have to columns - Date and Sales
Table2 ahve to columns - Date and Return
In the model tab of Power Bi connect the two table by connecting the dates
Drag the visual on the the report page. Select the Sales and return as values and date as Axis
