Hello Team,
Can I use parameters in report where data source is SAP HANA(Direct Query) which need be published to Power BI service as well ?
Can I have some reference links for this.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Shiva
Hi @ShivaPrasad1,
Any variables defined in the underlying SAP HANA view will be displayed at the time of connecting, and the necessary values can be entered. Those values can subsequently be changed by selecting Edit Queries from the ribbon, and then Manage Parameters from the drop down menu displayed.
For more details, please refer to DirectQuery and SAP HANA

Hi @v-yulgu-msft @ShivaPrasad1 Is there any eample of how to do this?
I would like to pass a parameter(schema1,schema1) so when i change value in parameter the all quries react acordingly.
What i have is multiple queries like this:
SELECT * FROM "Schema1"."Function1"();
SELECT * FROM "Schema1"."Function2"();
SELECT * FROM "Schema1"."Function3"();
what I want is all query change my schema name
SELECT * FROM "Schema2"."Function1"();
SELECT * FROM "Schema2"."Function2"();
SELECT * FROM "Schema2"."Function3"();
Since i have lots of queries in singel file i dont want to open each and every query and change schema name in query editor for each one.
@Thank you @v-yulgu-msft
Your solution will work for developer view. Will it work for Power BI service too?
