Connecting to Kyvos(OLAP tool on Hadoop) through Power BI

I am trying to connect to our Kyvos environment using Power BI. Kyvos uses xml based SSAS driver. We are able to connect from Tableau and Excel using SSAS drivers. The URL looks like below.

http://server:8081/kyvos/xmlaKyvos

But when I tried to connect from Power BI using SQL Server Analysis services, it is not able to connect to Kyvos server.

Any help would be appreciated.

Seems like you need to use Spark and not SSAS as a data source

What error message do you get? I don’t find any official articles stating  that it supports to Kyvos from Power BI Desktop.

Are you able to create a ODBC data source for Kyvos? If you can successfully create the ODBC data source, you can then connect to the ODBC data source using Get Data> ODBC option in Power BI Desktop. Another method is import data to Excel from Kyvos, then connect to the Excel file in Power BI Desktop.
