Connecting a extra set of data

Hi!

I have a normal product table in my database. Now I want to add information about products and how each customer handel them. Every customer have their own codes. This is how I have done it:

But it doesn't play out the way it should. First, it plays all the products with the correct listings but then comes all the wrong ones. There is no data so the data is ok - but I do not like the wrong ones. Like this:

Can anyone help me?

Best regards

Kent

Hi @Kent1341 ,

You may change the Cross filter direction of relationships among the three tables above from Single to Both , which will take these tables treated as a single table.

You can learn more about relationship :https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-create-and-manage-relationships.

Then when you display some fields of one table in visuals, the other linked tables' fields will return corresponding result in visuals .

Best Regards,

Amy

Hi @amitchandak, This made me go a little forward. Thank you! But it doesn't solve the problem.

The thing I have realized is that the problem is that I have a Product table connected to the Data table. The problem is that it's only connected with the ProductTag and then ListingData is connected with the Period/Item/Banner. So much more than the Product table.

I cant work my head around the problem. 😞 I think I see why the Index is wrong, but I don't see how it's solved!

The information you have provided is not making the problem clear to me. Can you please explain with an example. If possible please share a sample pbix file after removing sensitive information.
Thanks

Sorry @amitchandak , I'll try to make my self clear 🙂

The problem is that I'm not sure that I have linked the tables together in the right way. The result is not OK.

The way I have done it is to make the 3 facts from each table come together like this:

Period / Item / Banner => PeriodItemBanner

and then linked the 2 tables together that way.

A lot of the facts look OK, but RANK is OK!

As you can see the one on the left (the rank), is counting for each code that there is...

I hope this is better
