Connecting QuickBooks (Beta) to Power BI Dashboard - Script Errors

Good afternoon,

I have been looking through the community and noticed some posts addressing using the 'Get Data' to connect QuickBooks data with Power BI. Upon doing so, I am continuously getting Script Errors when attempting to use my login credentials to link my QBO account. Are admin credentials required to connect the data for both Power BI and QBO, or just one or the other? I am looking to get started creating models and am curious as to what the solution is to fix this problem.

Thank you in advance to anyone that can lend some assistance!

Hi, @geradgreco

This issue is listed in Support site, you can keep an eye on the status of it:

As a short term mitigation, the Intuit team has rolled back the impacting change for two weeks. During this time, customers are requested to log in using the Power BI desktop client and then refresh their report every 30 days until a permanent fix is available.

The long-term solution to this issue is expected to be deployed by the end of March 2021.

Any updates on this?  First time trying to connect to QBO but receiving tonnes of script errors.  Is there any work around if this is the first time connecting?

Thank you for this! I greatly appreciate it!

Hi, do you have a status on this issue?  The 'support site' link you noted is broken and doesn't work.  I'm getting a string of script errors leading to a blank window (first time user of this connector).

Hello,

I have not had any luck yet with this new implementation to connect the QBO account to Power BI. Sorry!

i think you need to be admin on the quickbooks side.
