Hi,
I'd like to use Power BI with PostgreSQL database in my company. I need to whitelist PowerBI addresses in my firewall but I don't know where to find proper IP addresses. Is there any simple solution to find them? As I understand it properly -> the PowerBI cloud service will be asking for data so IP address of my PC is unecessary?
Looking for help!

Hi, @Anonymous
As Power BI Service is cloud-based service, its IP address could be different each time within each region. You can download Microsoft Azure Datacenter IP Ranges to monitor the dynamic IP range on time. The generated file contains the IP address ranges used in the Microsoft Azure Datacenters.
Please note that this IP list is updated weekly.

@Anonymous , if you know URL, you can run this on command prompt
For your system ip, you need to run
ipconfig
For any url, say google.com
nslookup google.com
HI, thanks for response, but as I understand I do not need my IP, I need PowerBI server IP address cause this server will ask our database for data. The competitors publish this IP on their web sites I cannot find it anywhere in PBI...
Hello @Anonymous @amitchandak
Did you find a solution to your problem ? I have exactly the same issue. I developed some reports in my local machine, but my company has network rules to limit access to our databases.
I have installed a gateway in my local machine, but when I publish the report in the power bi service, I cannot refresh the dataset. How do you manage this issue ? Since the IP address can change based on the region etc because it's based on Azure, I don't know how I can manage this issue.
Thank you for your response.
