Connect Microsoft Graph query in Power Bi

Was looking for a way to import Microsoft graph query as data into Power Bi. and we have already tried the following two ways:

  1. In OData feed, input Microsoft graph query (e.g. https://graph.microsoft.com/beta/users), but gets response "access to the resource is forbidden"
  2. There are posts suggests to use "microsoft graph security (beta)". However, we did not find it in the list of "Get Data" panel

So we wonder what is the official or suggested method to connect Mirosoft graph and Power Bi

Btw, we was trying to use MS graph to get data about risk users in Azure

Hi,

The current 'accepted solution' to this question no longer works, but I have written this article which does (although NB unsupported!)

I'm having the same issue, they depreciated calling Graph API now via Power BI.

However, they talk about using Graph Connect or Graph Data Connect instead and Data Factory to run the query and store the results somewhere PBI can access it.

I haven't figured out how to make that a reality yet though sadly.
