Conditional formatting in Clustered column chart

Hi Everyone,

I have used a clustered column chart with 2 columns - Actual, Plan. Now, I want to apply conditional formatting as set the color of the Actual bar based on the value of Plan. If Actual is greater than Plan, then show it as Green else as Red.

I couldn't find any solution online fitting this requirement. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

To the best of my knowledge, clustered column charts do not support conditional formatting...yet. I say yet because I believe I've read in recent blog posts from the product teams that they are working on getting more visuals to support conditional formatting.

I understand that it's not available in the Clustered Column chart, are you aware of any custom visuals which can fit this requirement?

Hi @sricharan_g ,

For a workaround, you can try the following method in the table or matrix.

I created a measure to compare the difference between Actual and Plan.

Measure = IF(MAX('Table'[Actual]) < MAX('Table'[Plan]),"Red","Green")

The document is about conditional formatting in tables that you can reference.
