Hello All,
I am working on a yearly sales analysis report and I am reporting my results Quaterly.
I displayed my results in Matrix visual (Years on Y axis and Qtr's on X axis) as per the image. I would like to display the numbers in Red format if the Qtr results are less than previous Qtr.
EX - 2014 Q2 is 23k but Q3 is 20k- In this scenario i would like to disply it as Red as the sales were less than previous QTR.
I tried to use conditional formating but it needs a default/ base value to compare and my Qtr'y results wont be static.Could you please let me know if there a way?
Thanks In advance.

You may use a measure.
Measure = SIGN ( CALCULATE ( SUM ( 'Table'[sales] ), PREVIOUSQUARTER ( 'Table'[Date].[Date] ) ) - SUM ( 'Table'[sales] ) )
