Hello,
I have a bunch of buildings and I would like to find a way how to model their weakening condition.
My data is in form:
id | address | gross area | condition now |
1 | first steet | 700 | 45 % |
2 | second street | 1500 | 65 % |
3 | third street | 940 | 90 % |
The idea is, that each year, condition of each property goes down by 5%-points. The conditions are to be grouped in categories A: 80-100%, B: 50-80% and C: <50%.
I would like to make a stacked pile graph that has years on horizontal axis and gross areas on vertical axis, having condition category as a legend.
The guestion is, is there a way to calculate each years' condition in Power BI or should I include the time-dimension in Excel? My attempts of doing research on this weren't successful - if there has been similar questions before, I would love to get a link.
My next challenge is to add new buildings later, for example, a building that will be built on 2024, and will therefore have a condition of 100% on 2024..
Thank you for your time and help! 😊
Hi @PBl ,
Could you please provide me with more details about your table and your problem or share me with your pbix file from your Onedrive for Business?
Or provide the expected result, which is presented in the form of charts.
Best Regards,
Stephen Tao
