Concatenate displays different in Report than Table

I have a concatenated column that I created in a table.  When I see the concatenated column in the table it looks perfect but when I choose that column in the report builder Matrix some of the resulting strings add or subtract 1 (one) from the string.  Output is below.  I show the 2 individual columns and the concatenated one.  How can get the concatenated column to display correctly in report?  Any suggestions would be helpful.

Changed the Type in the concatenated column from Whole Number to Text and column displayed correctly in the report
