Concatenate Measure and Text

Hello,

Could you please answer the following:

I was trying to create a calculation showing SUM(Montant Facturable) and the Currency, and the reason why I'm using this method not the default Number Formatting is that Gaia is a Number and Montant is Currency; so when I select Montant, I would like to see 2 decimals and Euro currency,

Thank you,

Hi @RitaChebl ,

Not sure if I understand exactly what you are asking, however when you create a measure you will have control over the format by going to the Modeling tab and selecting the Format.
Let me know if you have any questions.

If this solves your issues, please mark it as the solution, so that others can find it easily. Kudos are nice too.

Re: Concatenate Measure and Text

Reporting Period = IF(ISFILTERED(DATES[Reporting Period]),
CONCATENATE("Reporting Period: ",SELECTEDVALUE(DATES[Reporting Period])))

Re: Concatenate Measure and Text

You will need to define the formatting for both cases using IF clause, something like this:

CalculatedMeasure = IF(SELECTEDVALUE(Table1[FilterField]) == "Gaia", FORMAT(SUM(ARS211C[MONTANT FACTURABLE]), "Currency"), FORMAT(SUM(ARS211C[MONTANT FACTURABLE])), "General Number"))
