I'd like to create a roll forward of headcount data . My data is in this format
Function | Date | |
Hire1 | A | Jan |
Leaver1 | B | Feb |
Hire2 | C | March |
Hire3 | D | June |
Leaver2 | E | July |
Leaver3 | F | Feb |
The roll forward should look like this. I'm not clear on how to get the next month's data to automatically roll forward.
Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | |
Total Hdct | 120 | 121 | 119 | 120 | 120 | 120 | 121 |
Hire1 | 1 | ||||||
Leaver1 | -1 | ||||||
Hire2 | 1 | ||||||
Hire3 | 1 | ||||||
Leaver2 | -1 | ||||||
Leaver3 | -1 | ||||||
EOM | 121 | 119 | 120 | 120 | 120 | 121 | 120 |
@lab
Calculate(sum(value),Filter(allselected(Datesdim),datesdim[Date]>=min(datesdim[date]))
Try this and let me know, but you must have a date table
