Comparison of objects in the same column

Hello,

I have a table with columns: company, category, company's sale in this category, highest sale in the category[from all the companies].

I want to select 1 retailer and 2 companies as competitors and create such table:

[category] [highest sale] [retailer' sale] [1st competiror sale] [diff between retailer and 1st competitor][2nd competiror sale] [diff between retailer and 2nd competitor]

I tried duplicating column with company name, creating couple slicers, but i have a problem with showing which company is a retailer and which is a competitor.

Thanks for help!

Hi akowalski,

What does "showing which company is a retailer and which is a competitor." mean? Could you please provide more details about your table structure and expected details? In addtion, as a general solution, you can create a new column which has tag values like "Retailer", "Competitor" and create a slicer based on the new column to show retailer and competitor.

Regards,

Jimmy Tao

Table looks like this:Capture.PNG

There i a pool of retailers and it depends on user which one is compared with 2 another. In excel it looks like this. You can select who is retailer and who is a competitor from the same pool of companies:Capture3.PNG

 And table looks like this:Capture4.PNG

Problem is that all companies can be listed as a retailer or a competitor, they are chosen from one pool of companies.
