Comparing Annual Staff Numbers

Hi everyone,

I have a Dashboard that shows me total number of staff currently active. As and when they leave, the "End Date" colum is filled with the end date and based on that, they become "inactive".

I am trying to compare current year's active staff number against same period last year's active staff numbers. I am struggling to find the best way to find out what was the active staff number last year as once the End Date column is filled, the status is changed to inactive. Any tips will be appreciated.

Thanks

@Jawed can you give an example of what your data looks like and what you struggling with exactly, what is your expected result?

If I took the time to answer your question and I came up with a solution, please mark my post as a solution and /or give kudos freely for the effort 🙂 Thank you!

Hi @vanessafvg.

You can see my dashboard and part of the data screenshot. I want to show how my active Full-Time Equivalent (FTE), as well as Staff Turnover, compares to the previous year. The last column in the data is showing the status of an employee based on the "end date" column.

I hope that makes sense.Dashboard.pngScreenshot.png
