Compare Current vs Previous Month with DAX

All, many thanks in advance, I've seen that similar topics have already been posted and resolved, however I've tried different ways and unfortunately still cannot find the right way. Could you please suggest how to get from the Input to the Output? Thank you

I am hoping you have date dimension. Then try

previous month =CALCULATE(SUM(product[value]), dateadd('Date'[Date],-1,month))

To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s.

Thanks all. Unfortunatelly the above solutions don't work. This is my fault since I have't explaned that there's also a Report Period Dimension. Without the Report Period Dimension the above solutions work. With the dimension the measure shows nothing or the same period's data depending if the relationship between Dates (CalendarAuto) disabled or enabled. I have attached the screnshot of the relationship

If the report period has all dates. Check if it can become the parent of date dimension.

Hi, thanks! No, the Report Period dimension only has 1 date per month

Can you share sample data and sample output? If possible please share a sample pbix file after removing sensitive information.Thanks.
