I am trying to make a combo line/clustered column chart with the line being the sum of all the clustered items. I have created clustered columns divided by Year and Class (two fields) by clicking Year Field --> Class Field (Industrial, Government, etc.) --> Water Consumption (mgd). The chart is displayed below. Is there a way I can produce a "Total" consumption for each year that essentially skips the Class Field step and just sums up the total Water Consumption for each year for all classes combined? Thanks!
So I was given monthly Water Consumption data for a bunch of customers of different Classes. The Water Consumption data was then summed and allocated to different Classes for each Year as indicated in the original post. Because the whole plot is filtered by Classes, I cannot include a total Water Consumption for each year. I am looking for something like the image below, where it has a secondary axis for the summation line.
