Hi,
I have one fact table that contains two different dates (arrival and departures for hotel's reservations). Then another table that accounts for hotels being opened at certain date, and then a different table that shows when did a guest check-in.
Is it possible to join all those 4 dates into just one calendar in order to be able to use a single date selection? That would help me a lot!
Now I can filter by arrival or departure dates with separate calendars, but can't mix that info with how many hotels were opened on certain date, etc.
Thanks!
Hey @Anonymous ,
absolutely. That's the reason you should create a date dimensional table.

Hi,
I have already two date tables, Arrival Calendar and Departure Calendar, linked to arrival_date field and departure_date field respectively.
Do you mean that I should have only one single date table and link all date fields to it? I tried but the relationship management doesn't let me to have them all active.
Hi @Anonymous ,
I think you should combine the four dates using customer information as the key value, could you pls provide some sample data for test?
Best Regards,
Kelly
