I have a lot of reports pulling data from a single My SQL.
One report is about Cost per Division and i want to compare to the Budget.
The problem is that the initial budget amounts are only in a xls
Division | Amount (Actual SUM from MySQL) | Target (From the XLS File |
Sales | 20.000 | 25.000 |
General | 10.000 | 15.000 |
TOTAL | 30.000 | 40.000 |
The xls has the numbers per month (12 columns)
1. What is the best scenario to do it, Is there a Guideline for this kind of analysis/compare ?
2. The MySQL is through a Gateway so the data is always up to date.
The XLS in the other hand, is on a local drive. Is there a way to have it live (even is changing only once a yer) ?
