Combine Slicer

I used two columns from one table to create slicers -'HHS-DSHS-ActivePositions'[Department] and 'HHS-DSHS-ActivePositions'[Department Sub] .

I have a column in the same table called Name - 'HHS-DSHS-ActivePositions'[Name].

How can I combine all three into one slicer - Department, Department Sub, and Employee Name?

@datavis you can create a calculated column which concatenates all 3 values into 1 column and use that as a slicer or try using a hierarcy slicer from marketplace.

The concatenate version looks terrible. The drop down selection is just as bad. Surely there is a better way.

I have to go through asset management to download apps so I don't think I can download the Hiearchy app or it will take time which I don't have. Any other solutions?

@datavis  Is there a reason you want to have just one slicer? Why not have 3, the selection from one propagates to the other, it is a pretty clean solution. The visual I sent you is the easiest way in my opinion, if you find something better, plz let me know as well.

I think it looks more user friendly to have one slicer with drop downs because it's easier for the user to maneuver when the hierarchy is easier to see. Due to time I will use the 3 separate slicers but if I can get permissions to use the app suggested I will.
