Columns that Tiers/group based on a range of numbers

Hi all,

I have a wish to group/score/tier a range of people on a specific parameter.

For instance: Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3

Tier 1 should be the rows with the lowest numbers (the lowest 10% compared to the rest of the group/selection)

Tier 2 Should be from 10% to 50%

Tier 3 Should be the remiaing 50% to 100%

Does this makes sense I would normally do this with a percentile formula in excel..?
If you have other ideas on how I can score/group Im happy to hear

Thanks

Kristoffer
