Column that marks questions

Hello,

I am trying to create a column that marks questions:

QueryQuestion?

Which city

Yes
TownNo

What county

Yes
CityNo
When was this city foundedYes

I think it should consist of DAX expression CONTAINSTRING in combination with 'when', 'which' etc. yet I don't know how to write the code

Any idea how to do this?

You can also use the SEARCH function in a column not measure

Column =
IF (
    SEARCH ( "What", Sheet1[Query], 1, 0 ),
    "Yes",
    IF (
        SEARCH ( "Which", Sheet1[Query], 1, 0 ),
        "Yes",
        IF ( SEARCH ( "When", Sheet1[Query], 1, 0 ), "Yes", "No" )
    )
)

Hey @Anonymous ,

that's difficult to say when you don't tell us how the data looks like.

But something like this might work:

Question =
IF(
    CONTAINSSTRING(
        'myTable'[Query],
        "which"
    ),
    "Yes",
    "No"
)

If you need any help please let me know.
If I answered your question I would be happy if you could mark my post as a solution ✔️ and give it a thumbs up 👍

Best regards
Denis
