Lets say I have 2 kinds of program (Program 1 and Program 2) with different program details for each program
Program | Proyek | Nilai | Area | Kapasitas | Target Pasar |
1 | A | 4 | Jawa | ||
B | 5 | Sumatera | |||
C | 6 | Kalimantan | |||
2 | X | 70 | Kecil | ||
Y | 80 | Sedang | |||
Z | 90 | Besar |
I will have a slicer with containing ‘Program’ as its field, and want to show the matrix or table with program details reflected for each program
For instance, if I select Program 1 in ‘Program Slicer’ the matrix will show only Proyek, Nilai, and Area column but if I select Program 2, the matrix will show Proyek, Kapasitas, and Target Pasar column
Need help on methode to do it.
NB: Don’t want to show the column header when the value is empty (if Program 1 selected, the matrix shall not show the kapasitas and target pasar column)
Thank You

Hi @Anonymous,
Perhaps you can try to 'unpivot columns' on your fields to achieve dynamic attribute in your report visualizations:

Buttons and bookmarks will appear to be seamless.
Create a Matrix for program 1
Copy and Paste it in the same position. Rename it and change the column to Program2
Make the 2nd Matrix invisible
Add a Bookmark as Program 1 bookmark
Add Program 2 bookmark
swap the visability
update the bookmark
Then add 2 buttons
Sure there is a guy in a cube video where patrick shows bookmarks
Hi, @Anonymous ,
Using bookmarks can do the trick.
You can make two tables/matrix, one showing Program 1 and the other showing Program 2. Then you can save two bookmarks, one of which is to hide Program 1 when Program 2 is displayed, and the other is the opposite. Then you can insert a button to control which bookmark to show.
(Another solution is using Calculation Group, but this method is more complicated)
Mark this post as solution if this helps, thanks!
