Color Saturation based on X axis

I'm trying to use different colors based on my x-axis value, for example any values >0.5 should be red and everything <0.5 is blue, but when I try to set the max and min in data colors options it only changes based on my y-axis values. How should I tackle this?

You can create a calculated column and use it as a legend/category to specify the color that you want.
