Hi!
I am looking for some help using the Microsoft Clustering visual. I used the "Draw Ellipse" feature to create an ellipse parameterizing the clusters, however I also need to know the value of the area of that ellipse. Currently I have a VBA code that does this within Excel. This function is one of, if not the, most important tools for analyzing my department's data. Without this capability we may not be able to use Power BI as our primary platform, so I would really appreciate any help you are able to give!
Thanks,
Abbi
Hi Abbi,
According to the introduction and the source code, it's k-means algorithm inside. What would you like to know? In what format?
Best Regards,
Dale
Thanks for the response, Dale!
I would like to know if there is some way to upload our existing VBA code as a custom visual within Power BI.
Hi @abbi_sanders,
I would suggest you create an idea here. The custom visual is created by R and JS for now. Please refer to docs/latest/step-by-step-lab/developing-a-power-bi-custom-visual/ and https://github.com/Microsoft/PowerBI-visuals and desktop-r-powered-custom-visuals.
Best Regards,
Dale
