Hi All,
Sample PBIX file is here
I need to display Employee’s age profile similar to this.
I am using SharePoint Online and want to use Power BI for reporting purposes.
So I made a list as follows as Number as data type
users are filling within the SharePoint form as follows:
So I made some transformation and changed the Data Type (Decimal Number) within Power BI desktop as follows:
The first column 20To30 years group shows values as follows, 26%, 20%, 26%, 20% and 26%.
But when I drag values from fields for 20 to 30 years, 31 to 40 years, 41 to 50 years etc. the chart shows in different way and first column shows 150% which is also not correct
and for the 20 to 30 years column I am using default SUM and NO Caclucation.
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Hi,
You should change the summarisation function fro SUM to AVERAGE. Average of 26,20,26 and 20 is 23%
Hi @Anonymous,
Looking at your data what is happening is that your column is calculated in your table the total od 20-30 years gives 118% taking out the 26% from BU2 it will give you the 92% you are seeing, based on your data what is the number you want to show the max value - 26% or an average of the values (26% - 20% - 26% - 20%), you should select on your summarization the average or max value.

Hi @Ashish_Mathur and @MFelix ..
Thanks for your valubale inputs. The Age Chart works well with Average within Visualization ..
Thanks again!
You are welcome.
Are you different lines in the image of the table corresponding to each of the BU's you show in the first graph? Again loking at your data on the first image you have several BU on the PBI chart you only have two probably there is an incorrection on the BU column that makes it a sum and not a value per grouping.
